Flattered by the vows

Engraved in my heart.

For I know

Having you flashed in my brain,

With every heartbeat,

With every hazy breath,

That I am fond of you.

I see you in my future

And in my lap,

Where I stroke the pain away from you

Hushing it,

Like I did to the flock of sheeps

Back in my day.

I plant kisses to your eyes,

And to your forehead,

That is inscribed with your manly adventures.

I want you for us,

For our future,

That we would paint together

With our brushes

As we correct our own imperfections,

And become the best for us.

Shall you hold my palm,

As I do to your perfectly sculptured neck

And ask me for a dance

That we both know

Will get us swayed throughout the night.

Will you be my guardian,

As I will be to you?
